Employer Based Immigrant Visa

Texas Immigration Attorney

EB-1 Priority Workers
The EB-1 classification is open to individuals with extraordinary ability in the arts, sciences, education, business or athletics; to outstanding professors or researchers; or to managers and executives.

In these fields, you should be internationally recognized for your contribution to your field, with at least three years employment history. As a manager or executive, you are required to have been employed outside the U.S. for at least one of the past three years.

EB-2 Professionals with advanced degrees or persons with exceptional ability
The EB-2 is open to individuals with exceptional ability in the sciences, arts or business, professionals with advanced degrees and physicians intending to practice medicine in underserved areas.

This is a "lesser" of the EB-1, meaning that you may be outstanding in your field yet do rise to the "extraordinary" ability of the EB-1. However, like the EB-1, you will need to demonstrate substantial achievement in your field.

EB-3 Skilled or professional workers
The EB-3 classification includes individuals with at least two years' experience as skilled workers, professionals with bachelors' degrees, or workers who can contribute other skills to the U.S. which are unavailable otherwise.

A skilled worker should have at least two years' experience either through on-the-job training or higher education. Professional workers must have the equivalent of a U.S. bachelor's degree.

EB-4 Special Immigrants
EB-4 encompasses religious workers or employees of the U.S. abroad. This documentation needed for an EB-4 is similar to an R Visa; you will be required to provide substantial proof that you are in a calling with your religious denomination.

EB-5 Investment Immigrants
10,000 immigrant visas per year are available to qualified individuals seeking permanent resident status on the basis of their engagement in a new commercial enterprise. You must invest over $1,000,000 in most cases to be eligible for this visa.

The attorneys and staff of Sablatura Williams PLLC would be more than happy to assist you through this process, advocate your interests to the USCIS, and do what we can to bring you lawfully to the U.S.
