Assault

The attorneys of Sablatura Williams represent clients with both misdemeanor and felony assault cases, including aggravated assaults and family violence. A family violence finding can have drastic implications:  an affirmative finding of family violence can raise misdemeanor to a felony offense or take away your right to ever legally possess a firearm.

If charged with assault, our firm will:

  1. Obtain discovery regarding the facts of your case;

  2. Review the police reports and any statement given by witness or alleged victim, if applicable;

  3. Use his best efforts to obtain affidavits from the appropriate witnesses, including affidavits of non prosecution;

  4. Move to suppress evidence illegally obtained by the State;

  5. Negotiate a favorable outcome for you, or

  6. Take the case to trial.

You need an aggressive, experienced trial attorney if charged with a misdemeanor or felony assault.  The stakes are high.

If you are arrested for assault in Williamson, Travis or Hayes County, or Austin, Round Rock, Georgetown, Pflugerville, Leander, Buda or Kyle, Texas, please contact us as soon as possible.
