Jeremiah Williams A Texas Attorney You Can Trust

undefinedJeremiah D. Williams

Jeremiah D. Williams, a native of the small west Texas town of Sterling City, is a Texas trial lawyer. Mr. Williams is a former Williamson County Prosecutor with extensive trial experience in criminal, family, CPS, and personal injury law.

Mr. Williams currently serves as Vice President of the Upper Brushy Creek Water Control and Improvement District, overseeing flood mitigation structures in Williamson County. Additionally, Mr. Williams serves as the General Counsel to the Williamson County Republican Party as well as a precinct chair. He is the former president of the Williamson County Bar Association.

Mr. Williams' criminal defensive experience is high-profile, broad and extensive: from collegiate athletes charged with murder (and subsequently dismissed), to Aryan Brotherhood members charged with a "hit", to common individuals mistakenly linked to drug cartels. Mr. Williams' has successfully defended citizens in federal national security cases and accusations of federal immigration crimes. He continues to represent Fortune 500 executives who have been wrongfully accused of DWI – but also gives the same level of representation to the "blue collar" worker charged with the same - be it first time misdemeanor to eight-time felony, no case is too big or too small. He excels in superior results for his clients, as he sees the person who is accused as a person just like himself - not a case, not a fee, not a criminal. Mr. Williams strongly believes that anytime the government is against you, you need an aggressive, experienced trial attorney who knows the system.

Mr. Williams' experience in criminal defense intersects with Child Protective Services' defense; he has successfully defended countless parents when the government intrudes on the sanctity of their family. His experience against CPS is unparalleled within the Central Texas region. Mr. Williams regularly represents individuals in child custody and divorce, as well as represents children as an appointed attorney by the courts. Mr. Williams knows and understands the nuances of the Texas Child Protective Services, and more importantly, how to defeat them in the courtroom or prevent CPS from seeking legal intervention. Mr. Williams recommends: “The first time CPS calls you, call me immediately - do not wait.”

Mr. Williams also represents those who have been injured by negligent drivers or other accidents, such as wrongful death caused by careless or intoxicated drivers. Mr. Williams has recovered large six figure settlements on behalf of his clients who were wrongfully shot in road rage incidents. He takes on the big trucking companies, the big insurance companies, and the distracted driver. When you have been injured, you need a local, “in the trenches” lawyer by your side - not an attorney who is new to town or blanket advertises on television. Mr. Williams knows the local courts and judges, and has the experience to give you the advantage in the courtroom.

He is licensed by the Supreme Court of Texas and the United States Court for the Western District of Texas, regularly appearing in the courts of Georgetown and Austin, (Williamson and Travis Counties), as well as Hays, Burnet and Bastrop Counties and the Third Court of Appeals in Austin. Mr. Williams frequently represents clients across Texas - including Dallas, Houston, San Antonio, Del Rio, and even back home in the San Angelo area.

Before becoming a prosecutor, Mr. Williams worked in West Texas for individuals who were victims of personal injury, including medical malpractice, automobile accidents, and workplace injury.

Mr. Williams is a graduate of Texas A&M University and Texas Tech University School of Law. At Tech Law, he served as Chairman of the Board of Barristers and was voted "Most Likely to Appear on a Cover of Phone Book" by his fellow peers - an accolade that he is still not sure what to make of.

Mr. Williams is married and has two children, leading his family as followers of Jesus Christ. He and his wife are members of Hill Country Bible Church - Brushy Creek, where he serves in the junior high student ministry. His law firm's philosophy on divorce and child custody is directed by his core Christian beliefs.

Being an avid outdoorsman, he calls fishing for reds and specs on the Texas Coast with his wife and kids the closest thing to heaven on earth.
